Launched in October 2022, this initiative is a cornerstone of the KY HEARS program, designed to address and diminish the hearing healthcare disparities across the state of Kentucky, particularly in rural areas that have historically been underserved.

As part of the statewide hearing healthcare initiative, the Mobile Hearing Clinic travels across Kentucky, visiting communities quarterly or more frequently as needed. This innovative approach provides a broad spectrum of services directly to the communities most in need.
Holistic Services, Healthcare Partnerships
Services offered include hearing screenings, diagnostic hearing tests, vestibular and balance treatments, and patient continuity of care. Furthermore, the clinic facilitates connections with vital resources such as Vocational Rehab and the Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH), thereby removing barriers to care and fostering greater inclusivity in hearing health services.
