KY HEARS to deliver free hearing screenings and diagnostic tests

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Heuser Hearing Institute’s innovative KY HEARS program is bringing accessible hearing healthcare to the Breathitt County Health Department in Jackson, Ky on March 5, the Martin County Health Department in Inez, Ky on March 10 and the Pike County Health Department in Pikeville, Ky on March 12. Attendees can stop by all three health departments anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

KY HEARS is conducting a scheduled full clinic with diagnostic testing and hearing aid fits. In addition, guests can complete five-minute self-guided hearing screenings, and team members will be available to answer questions about hearing healthcare. KY HEARS will also offer free earplugs, educational materials on hearing health and protection and branded items like pens and hand sanitizer.
